Kathleen Burns Power of Pipersville PA., passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2020 at Harborview Rehabilitation/ nursing home in Doylestown, PA.

Kathleen was 60 years old She was the wife of the late John Power.

Kathleen was born April 20, 1960 in Chester PA., and was the daughter of the late Fredrick Burns Mother: Ann Cassidy.

Kathleen’s biggest influence was her mother Ann. Which she could always count on in the good as well as bad times. One of her greatest achievements was becoming an LPN, so she could continue her caring ways. Her caring personality, definitely rubbed off on her children.

Kathleen had attended Central Bucks East High School and had been employed as

LPN and was a private care giver in the Doylestown, Pipersville area.

Kathleen was always very crafty in multiple ways. They included decoupaging items, baking, sewing, painting and pottery. She was always interested in the medical field, which lead to her career. She had assisted from time to time at Pine Run community center in Doylestown PA. She was always up for traveling to beach in Sea Isle City, NJ. She also enjoyed going on picnics in one of the many wilderness areas. Lake Nockamixon and High Rocks in Bucks County are two favorite places.

Kathleen is survived by her son Ryan Burns and daughter Jessica Burns. As well as sister Diane, Sister- in -law Maryann, niece Caitlin and her nephew Connor.

Services will be announced at a later date.

“Kath” was my sister or is she still my sister? Today I found some very old pictures of our family. As I looked over them it brought both tears and smiles. Picture from Sea Isle City NJ, Our travel to Louisiana and our first home in West Chester Pa. Where did the years go?

You were too young to go and I hope that you are finally at Peace.

A memory that most comes to mind was how happy she was to give birth to Ryan and Jessica. The children were a true joy in her life.

I miss you and I know that Mother, Dad and Dennis were there to greet you. I will see you on the other. Godspeed.

Your sister, Di

Kathy could always be counted on for contagious laughter. I have many fond memories of fun and especially family picnics.. and too, of shared tears and heartbreak. But, we always found ways to giggle and laugh through the tears. A favorite trip to the beach and losing our way home had us doubled over with laughter since we ended up close to New York instead of PA. She was full of sass and my favorite nickname of Sassy Sass Kath, it fit you so well. You were loved and will be missed, cousin. Rest in Peace. XO

I remember so many summers sitting at the pool with Kathy playing cards. It was always a good time. She loved to play cards.
