Obituary for Ronald J. "Capt. Ron" Gladkowski

Ronald J. Gladkowski “Capt. Ron” passed away on October 3, 2018 at his home in Warrington. He was 77 years old. Ron was the husband of Eleanor (Nee Hansberry) Gladkowski, who together shared 56 years of marriage.

Ron was born in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Raymond and Ida Gladkowski. He was a graduate of Thomas Edison High School, and had worked in the printing industry for Forms Inc., and Spectra Graphics.

An avid fisherman, golfer and boater, Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren in Ocean City, MD and Marathon, FL. He was a member of the American legion and the Burlington Chapter of H.O.G.

In addition to his wife Eleanor, Ron is survived by his children Dawn Hartman (Matt), Patti Case (John Allenbach) and Ronald R. Gladkowski (Christine). He was the grandfather of Kyle and Nick Hartman, Liam and Kayla Case, and Ronald and Elise Gladkowski. He was also survived by his sister Dolores Jastrzembski (Rich).

Ron’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington, where the family will receive friends after 9:00 until the time of service. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
