Obituary for Thomas S. Robins
Thomas S. Robins, a Warrington resident for the past 47 years, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Pine Run Health Center. He was 87.
Thomas was the loving husband of June Robins.
Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Edwin and Julia Robins.
Thomas was proud to have served with the US Army during WWII and later served with the US Navy reserves.
He was a mechanical designer who contributed to the advancement of motion picture heart imaging, earth orbiting imagers, automotive parts and many other things that enhanced people's lives.
Thomas enjoyed art and flying and had his private pilot’s license.
In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by a son, Thomas S. Robins, Jr. and 2 daughters, Debbie Meier and her husband Al and Gail Robins. He is also survived by a grandson Robert and a brother Ronald.
Services and interment in Whitemarsh Memorial Park will be held privately.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
