Obituary for Susanne Tempesta
Susanne Tempesta, of Doylestown, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Wesley Enhanced Living with her loving family by her side. She was 84.
Susanne was the high school sweetheart and wife of Carmen Tempesta. The couple was married for 63 wonderful years.
Born in Abington, PA, Sue was a daughter of the late Alvin and Marjorie Tull
Sue was a member of Rockpoint Church in Plumsteadville.
In her free time, Sue enjoyed reading, quilting, bible study, walking her beloved dog Coco and traveling with her husband. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Carmen, Sue will be deeply missed by her children, Joe Tempesta (Randy), Carmen Tempesta Jr., Kristi Mancuso (Jamie), Donna Sauerwald (Dan); 7 grandchildren, Vaughn, Olivia, Cole, Dean, Jamie, Hayden, Katherine; her sister, Peggy Addy (Gary); sister and brother-in-law, Paul and Mary Serrill; and all her wonderful nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Rule and Betty Kunkel.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Rockpoint Church, 4877 Bergstrom Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902. Sue’s family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
