Suellen F. Becker a resident of Warminster for 42 years, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014. She was 72. She was the beloved wife of John C. Becker. They were married for 47 years. Suellen was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen Shanahan. Early in her life she had pursued a vocation with the Sister’s of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Suellen was an elementary school teacher and had taught at St John Bosco in Hatboro and St. David’s in Willow Grove. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had enjoyed spending time with her family at the shore.
In addition to her husband Suellen is survived by her children Patricia C. Ludwig, John C. Jr. (Valerie), Keith C. (Anne) and Michael C. Becker. She is the sister of Sheila Voce, Paul, James, and the late Joseph Shanahan. She is also survived by her grandchildren Conor, Brianne, Keith, Sean, Matthew, Samuel and Luke and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Suellen’s Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30am, March 13, 2014 at Nativity of Our Lord Church 625 W. Street Rd. Warminster. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening March 12, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm & Thursday from 8:30am-9:30am at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington.
