Obituary for Steven D. Gross
Steven D. “Steve” Gross, a lifelong resident of Upper Black Eddy, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 62.
Steven was the beloved husband of Susan Gross. The couple spent 23 wonderful years together.
Born in Upper Black Eddy, Steve was a son of the late Richard Edward and Peggy Gross.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Steven was self-employed as a builder, building many homes in the area. He, also, built first house Steven and Susan raised their children in before moving into the home he was raised in which was built by his father.
In his free time, Steven enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and classic cars. His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Susan, Steven will be deeply missed by his son, Richard D. Gross; his stepson, George Ellis (Ciara); his stepdaughter, Daniella Ellis; a granddaughter, Kenna Capri Ellis; his brothers, Terry and Dave Gross; and his sisters, Denise Chase (Jack), and Sarita Sinclair.
Services for Steven will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
