Obituary for Shirley H. Walker
Shirley H. Walker of Jamison, passed away on Friday August 12, 2022 at the Bridges of Warwick. Shirley was 88 years old. She was the wife of the late Roy Walker, Jr. Together the couple had shared 51 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, Shirley was the daughter of the late Henry and Isabel (Conti) Sivo.
Shirley had been employed with Safeguard Business Systems. Spending time with her family was the most important part of Shirley’s life. Shirley cared deeply for her many friends and enjoyed traveling, dining out, and entertaining with them. She belonged to the Golden Age Club and always looked forward to going on all of the trips. From childhood on, Shirley loved being at the Jersey shore.
She was beautiful and had great style and will be remembered for her lively spirit and caring personality. Especially evidenced by her support for her late husband Roy, during his health struggles. We will all miss her so very much.
Shirley is survived by her children Jeff Walker (Pam) and Donna MacGregor (Joseph). She was the sister of Carol West (Bruce), grandmother of Krystin Otte (Westley), Amanda Walker; and Joey MacGregor, and great grandmother of Chace Otte. Shirley is also survived by her Companion Louis Liebel.
Shirley’s Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday August 19, 2022 at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington, Pa. Internment will will at Ivy Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 10:00am until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent the Alzheimer’s Association.
