Obituary for Shelly Ann Nichols

Shelly Ann Nichols, a resident of North Wales, PA, formerly of Quakertown, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 following a courageous battle against lung cancer. She was 54.

Born in Philadelphia, Shelly was the daughter of late Joseph Gross and Dolores Easter.

Shelly enjoyed traveling, rooting for her favorite Philadelphia sports teams (the Eagles), and making all those around her laugh until they were in tears.

In addition to her mother, Shelly is survived by her three daughters, Casey Nichols, Jayme Nichols, and Karli Nichols, two sisters, Kim Krause (Steven) and Lori Gross-Ochmanski (Michael), one brother, Joseph Gross, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shelly’s sparkling personality and witty banter will be missed by all.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Beyond shocked and saddened to hear of Shelly's passing. We were neighbors in Quakertown, PA for many, many years and I can close my eyes and hear Shelly's bousterous laugh and happy spirit like it was yesterday at our neighborhood block parties and gatherings. My heart breaks for the family - Cancer SUCKS - This is so unfair. Peace be with you Nichols family.
