Obituary for Sandra Mignogna
Sandra Mignogna, a 22 year resident of Plumstead, formerly of Buckingham, passed away on Tuesday June 24, 2014 at her residence. She was 73.
Sandra was the loving wife of Gene Mignogna. The couple would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this August.
Born in Abington, Sandra was a daughter of the late Charles and Roberta Slack.
Sandra enjoyed crafting, gardening and cooking for her family. Her life centered on her family and she enjoyed being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by a son Mike and his wife Sandy, 3 daughters, Dawn Chase, Leigh Thomas and her husband Robert and Michelle Mignogna-Jordan and her husband Ed. She is also survived by a brother Bill Slack, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Slack.
Sandra’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State St, Doylestown where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am until the time of mass. Interment will follow on the church grounds at St. Mary Cemetery.
