Obituary for Rosemary "Rosie" Sickles
Rosemary R. Sickles peacefully passed away on Sunday January 3, 2021, she was a resident of Sunrise of Dresher in Dresher, PA. Rosemary was 93 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, PA., on March 5th 1927, Rosemary was the daughter of the late Neil and Ada (Liener) Harkins. She was the sister to Maryanne, the late Neal, Dolores, Betty, Ronald and Joan.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late William F. Schumack Sr. & Richard G. Sickles.
Rosemary is survived by her children Cynthia Reemtsma and her husband, Dirk, of Oceanside, CA, William Schumack, Jr and his wife Elizabeth of Hatboro, PA, Susan Simpson and her husband Alan of Doylestown, PA, and Robert Schumack and his wife Rebecca of Chalfont, PA and step- children Willard Sickles and his wife Gail of Dalton, PA, David Sickles and his wife Cathy of Quakertown, PA. Rosemary is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Cyrus, Tara, William III, Gregory, Kristy, Ashley, Alec, Natalie, Scott and 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was a long time member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary post 308 in Willow Grove, PA and the New Hope Eagle Fire company in New Hope, PA. She was referred to as a “fire granny”.

The family will receive friends from 10am – 11am at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington on Friday, January 8, 2021. Guest will be asked to exit the property after greeting the family to allow for others to arrive.
