Bob died January 5, 2019 from complications from a fall getting ready for a motorcycle ride. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Irene Watts (Hodge). He is survived by his two sons David and Bob and Bob’s wife Robin and their four children.

Bob was born in Philadelphia on January 25, 1923. He moved to Bucks County in 1954 with his young family.

He served in the 87th Division of the US Army during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. He achieved a rank of Sargent and served in the infantry.

He worked for the same paint company for 43 years and finished his career in the Quality Control Laboratory.

Besides motorcycles, Bob’s interests included fishing, collecting cars and RV camping.

There will be a celebration of Bob’s life February 2, 2019, 10 to 11 AM at the Wayside Chapel in Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
