Obituary for Robert C. Richick

Robert C. “Bob” Richick, of Chalfont, Pa, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was 54.

Bob was the loving husband of Denise Richick. The couple spent 30 wonderful years together.

Born in Fairless Hills, Bob was a son of Edward and Charlotte Richick.

Bob, along with his family, is a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church in Chalfont. Bob was a devout Catholic who lived his religion. He would attend morning mass frequently to pray for his friends and his friends’ loved ones who were sick.

Bob graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1991 with a degree in Health Sciences. He was a proud member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. The friendships he developed at Penn State have led to a lifelong brotherhood.

Bob was a supportive father who would do anything for his two children. He attended every event of theirs and could always be found cheering the loudest.

Bob was employed as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Intra-Cellular Therapeutics.

In his free time, Bob enjoyed Penn State Football, lifting weights, and making everyone around him laugh. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and friends.

Bob always lit up the room. His sense of humor and likeability made those surrounding him smile. He prided himself on the happiness and accomplishments of his wife and children. He was a role model to his family, friends, and loved ones.

In addition to his wife, Denise, Bob will be deeply missed by his children, Robert Stricker Richick, Francine Richick; his brother, Edward Richick Jr.; his loved ones; and many friends.

There are not enough words to describe what an amazing person, father, husband, coach, and friend he was. He is gone too soon and will be missed dearly. May he rest in peace.

Bob’s funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 6, 2023 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 321 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914. His family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
