Obituary for Robert James Campbell
Robert J. Campbell, a resident of New Hope for the past 40 years, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was 72.
Bob was the loving husband of Anita B. Campbell.
Bob was proud to have served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
For the past 28 years, Bob worked alongside his wife and served as president of Campbell & Associates, a computer sales and service company.
Bob was an active member of Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church, New Hope. He was also a member of Le Tip of Central Bucks, where he was a past president and treasurer.
Bob enjoyed traveling the world with his family and friends, favoring sunny Barbados over the snowy Bucks County winters. He toured many of the World’s cities over six continents, purposely skipping Antarctica because it is just too darn cold.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by a son Christopher and his wife Melissa, a brother Donald Campbell, and a most curious and loving cat Nigel.
Bob’s memorial service celebrating his life will be 11:00 Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1680 Aquetong Rd, New Hope, PA 18938, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church at the address above.
