Mickey, who I always called Mrs. Byard, was my best friend Vickie’s mother. We’ve been friends since second grade so I can’t remember a time when she wasn’t around. I always enjoyed hearing about the different places they had lived and the many national parks they had visited. As Vickie and I grew to be young adults and had more of our own lives I always remember Mickey and John and their Saturday night movie dates. Every Saturday was movie and a meal, especially during Academy Award season. I hope they’ll be enjoying a movie together this weekend! You’ll be missed Mrs. Byard.

Paula's family were neighbors of my family for many years, so there are many fond memories. When Paula was first diagnosed my dog NIke and I would go and visit with her in her home, when she moved to LakeView we went to visit her there on a weekly basis, and shared many memories. Nike and I will miss our weekly visits with her. She will be missed. Love you Mickey!
