Obituary for Paul Ralph Esser
Paul Ralph Esser, of Tinicum Twp., passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Liberty Pointe in Doylestown. He was 91.
Paul was the loving husband of Eileen Esser. The couple would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in April of 2023.
Born in Upper Black Eddy, he was the son of the late Dory and Hattie Agnes Eichlin Esser
Paul was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ottsville.
Paul worked in construction as an equipment operator.
In his free time, Paul enjoyed hunting. His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Eileen, Paul will be deeply missed by his 5 children, Cynthia Wright (Roger), Stephen Esser (Laura), Patricia Esser Prestia, Denise Kugler (Allen), Scott Esser (Tricia); 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.; and a sister, Stella Lear.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Esser; a granddaughter, Jocelyn Prestia; his brother, Robert Esser; and a sister, Mildred Texter.
Paul’s Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4050 Durham Road, Ottsville, PA 18942. Paul’s family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Ottsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
