Patricia Ann Steel, a resident of Ocala, Florida for the past 20 years, formerly of Ventnor and Margate, New Jersey passed away on October 19, 2018 at her residence. She was 70.
Born in Philadelphia, Patricia was a daughter of the late Hugh and June McHugh. Patricia is survived by her four siblings, Hugh (wife Kathy), Mark McHugh, Jamie Gundry, (Husband Dave), and Maureen Rokita (Husband John), As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia was employed in Atlantic City, NJ in the Licensing and Inspections Department, and the Mayor’s office. While in Florida, she was employed by Ocala City as a guard at the courthouse. Patricia loved knitting and crocheting and made many throws for local hospitals. She also enjoyed volunteering in Ocala as Santa’s helper during Christmas. She volunteered all her life. She was a member of her local VFW.
Patricia’s Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday, October 29, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, where the family will receive friends From 10:00 am until the time of mass.
