Obituary for Nolan J. West

Nolan J. West, of Doylestown, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at his residence. He was 83.

Nolan was the loving husband and high school sweetheart of Donna West. The couple would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on September 17th.

Born and raised in Doylestown, Nolan graduated from Central Bucks High School and later served as a member of the National Guard. Nolan was employed as a Parts Manager for Holbert's Porsche Audi for 50 years prior to his retirement.

For more than 60 years he followed all CB sports from his time as a member of the wrestling and football teams in the mid 1950's. His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family. Nolan was actively involved with his children's activities including Boy/Girl Scouts, camping, swimming races at Fanny Chapman and canoes races down the Delaware River.

In addition to his wife, Donna, Nolan will be deeply missed by his children, Dennis West (Lori DeVine), Denise Barr (Ira A.), Deborah West; 4 grandchildren, Brady, Patrick, Lynann, Eric; his sister, Bonnie Finney, his half-brother, David Reynolds; and two half-sisters, Linda Strecker and Nancy Scott.
