Obituary for Nancy Jane Kostenbauder
Nancy Jane Kostenbauder, of Warminster, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Neshaminy Manor. She was 90.
Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Daniel F. Kostenbauder, who passed away in August of 2021.
Born in Wilburton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Lena Friday.
Nancy was employed as a cashier at Shorday’s grocery store in Abington.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed making perogies and pickled beets, playing bingo, going to Atlantic City with her sisters and spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy will be dearly missed by her children, Daniel Kostenbauder (Angela), Dean Kostenbauder (Connie), Nancy Larkins (Robert); 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Donna Deely (Brian), Pat Bloomfield, and Alice Mensch.
In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her two sons, David and Dale Kostenbauder (Janet).
Nancy’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Rd., Warrington, PA 18976. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Aristes, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neshaminy Manor, 1660 S. Easton Rd., Warrington, PA 18976.
