Obituary for Michael R. Kehan

Michael R. Kehan, more affectionately known as Mickey, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020 surrounded by his loving brothers and sisters. He was 63.

Born in Philadelphia, Mickey was a son of the late John F. and Elizabeth M. Kehan.

An angel in disguise, everyone who knew him, loved him.

Mickey enjoyed listening to music on his Walkman, watching his favorite movies, Jaws and The Sound of Music and loved singing “New York, New York” at every event.

Mickey was preceded in death by his loving brother Jack Kehan. He will be dearly missed by entire family including his brothers, Joseph Kehan (Kathleen), Thomas Kehan (Antoinette); his sisters, Barbara Murray (Joseph), Patricia McKeever (William), his sister-in-law Ann Kehan (Jack), his aunt, Patsy Reilly Hanna; 15 nieces and nephews, Maureen Kehan, Kevin McKernan (Terri), Colleen Quinn (Craig), Bernard McKernan, Barbara Ann Desmond (Michael), Scott McKeever (Jane), Kathleen Fallace (Paul), Thomas Kehan (Christine), Joanne Carr (Dan), Tina Timmons (Sean), John Kehan, Jeffrey Kehan (Lindsey), Bryan Murray (Hillary), Patrick Kehan (Gretchen) and Brian Kehan (Dana); 30 great nieces and nephews; and 130 first cousins.

Family and friends will be received, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Rd., Warrington, PA 18976 and again on Thursday morning, October 1st at Nativity of our Lord Church from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 605 Street Rd., Warminster, PA 18974. The Mass will be live-streamed on the Church’s website and on the funeral home's website. The link for the Mass is https://livestream.com/accounts/19140436/events/5315289. Interment will be private.

The family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date when they can safely gather in large groups.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests everyone follow proper social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.
