Obituary for Maryann Patricia "Pat" Evans
Maryann Patricia “Pat” Evans, of Doylestown, passed away on April 5, 2023 at Pine Run – Lakeview. She was 84.
Pat was the loving wife of the late Ronald Bardsley Sr. and Robert Evans Jr.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late George and Margaret Matera.
Pat was a parishioner of St. John Bosco in Hatboro.
Pat attended Misericordia University, where she graduated with a degree in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Holy Redeemer Hospital, Greenleaf Nursing Home, and Fox Subacute.
In her free time, Pat enjoyed traveling, marching with the Reilly Raiders, volunteering at Doylestown Hospital. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with her family.
Pat will be deeply missed by her children, Ronald Bardsley Jr (Carol), Steven Bardsley (Lynn Deithorn), Jason Bardsley (Julie); Maryann Gilton (Greg); 6 grandchildren, Allyson, Chase, Christian, Bryce, Ashley, Grant; a brother, Mark Matera; and a sister, Judith Messina (Richard).
In addition to her parents and husbands, Pat was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Gallagher, and a brother, George Matera.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 14, 2023 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 215 E. County Line Rd., Warminster, PA 18974. Her family will receive friends from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
