Mary Mildred Roberts “Millie” of Jamison formerly of Huntingdon Valley, PA. passed away on Thursday November 12, 2020 at her grandson Edward and his wife Pattie’s home in Souderton.

Millie was the wife of the late Edward M. Roberts, Sr.

Millie had lived 100 marvelous years and had celebrated her birthday in August. Millie’s favorite pastime was gathering everyone around the table for a home cooked meal and of course dessert. There was always room for another chair at her table. Millie is survived by her children Susan Tedeschi (Frank) and Edward M. Roberts (Vicki). She was Nans to her 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Allison Tedeschi.

Millie was a longtime parishioner of St. Cyril of Jerusalem in Jamison. One of the things that always impressed me about Millie was that she was always the epitomy of a lady, She always looked like she stepped out of a fashion magazine. She was a great friend, and someone I looked up to. She was my dear friend for 40 years and I will miss her greatly. We had so many fun times together over the years, whether it was at the Jersey shore or in Pennsylvania. I have so many great memories, especially when she and Grace came to visit us in Florida. We would play Hand & Foot into the wee hours and Millie would usually win. She was a wiz at cards. She loved her family more than anything. .Rest in peace dear friend. I love you.

I always admired Aunt Millie for her style, grace and energy. I never saw her without her pearls. I cannot believe she was bowling and going to the gym up to and past age 90?!?!? Amazing woman. My mom remembers their trip to Ireland where Aunt Millie and she may have had too much mead. Aunt Millie was a pillar to her entire family, and will always be remembered with love.

Nans, You were loved and cherished by many, to me you were also a special blessing! Through the years I’ve enjoyed our time together whether through a meal, just talking about so many different things or playing games like scrabble, watching a movie and all the moments of laughter we shared!
Our hearts break to let you go but all the memories and lessons you passed on with love ..will live forever in our hearts!
I wish you peace in your next journey. With all my love and gratitude...Pattie xo
