Obituary for Martin H. Karsch
Martin H. Karsch, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in the home of his son, David, surrounded by his family. He recently entered hospice care after fighting a brave battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, a blood cancer.
Marty loved his Philadelphia sport teams, especially the Phillies. He also loved playing pinochle and poker. He worked for AOS as a purchasing agent.
Marty was preceded in death by his wife Doris DeVuono. Marty is survived by his sons, Mark and his wife, Pat, and Dave and his wife, Carolyn. He will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Dylan, Nicole, Tyler, and Kyle. He will be greatly missed by his loving companion, Marilyn Baltus.
Marty's funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976. There will be no formal sit down service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, after which the family will host a luncheon at La Cena Restaurant, 2233 Galloway Rd, Bensalem, PA.
