Obituary for Mario DeRosa
Mario DeRosa, of Upper Moreland Township, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family at the age of 88.
Mario was the beloved husband of Rosa DeRosa. The couple would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on September 20th.
Born in San Gregorio Magno (Salerno) Italy, Mario was the loving son of the late Amato and Linda DeRosa. He immigrated to the USA many years ago and was a talented stone mason.
In his free time, Mario enjoyed watching Italian soccer, especially team Juventus. His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mario is survived by his daughters, Linda DeRosa (Michael Paschall), Connie DeRosa (Ermanno Fiore); two grandchildren, Jessica and Antonio Fiore; and many relatives and friends.
Mario was preceded in death by his mother and father and his loving daughter, Flora DeRosa.
Mario's Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, PA 18976. His family will receive friend from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
