Marine Michael Ponente, of Warrington, formerly of Jamison, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Neshaminy Manor. He was 95.

He was the loving husband of the late Margaret Ponente.

Born in Philadelphia, Mike was a son of the late Marino and Christina Ponente.

A World War II veteran, Mike served his country in the U.S. Army.

After being honorably discharged from the Army, Mike worked for the City of Philadelphia. He opened his own construction firm, Jude Enterprises, which he operated until his retirement in 2008.

In his free time, Mike enjoyed golfing at the Doylestown Country Club and watching the Philadelphia Phillies.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Vicki Ponente (Ron Spillman); two sons, Nicholas Ponente (Linda), Michael Ponente (Lisa); 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Mike’s services will be held private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphsis, TN 38105.
