Obituary for Marie R. DiMarco
Marie R. DiMarco, of Warminster, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at her residence at Ann’s Choice surrounded by her loving family. She was 86.
Marie was the loving wife of Frank DiMarco.
Born and raised in South Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Matilda Giannone.
Marie attended Southern High School and graduated from Temple University with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree. She was a teacher for more than 30 years, spending most of her career at F. Amedee Bregy Elementary School.
Marie and her husband, Frank, enjoyed traveling all over the world. She was passionate about music and brought it into every aspect of her life, whether it was school musicals and performances or teaching her grandchildren piano. Marie continuously supported her children and was an active grandmother, always there for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marie’s smile and continuously bright mood never escaped the notice of others. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her husband, Frank, Marie will be deeply missed by her children, Andrea Miller (Joseph), Frank DiMarco (Donna Hall); 5 grandchildren, Kenneth Chester, Stephanie Edwards (Travis), Chelsea DiMarco (Christopher Magyar), Danielle DiMarco, Gabrielle DiMarco; and her two great grandchildren, Ellis Edwards and Adam Edwards.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 605 W. Street Rd., Warminster, PA 18974. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM the morning of the Mass at the Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to continue supporting Marie’s passion for education and her dedication to the social and emotional growth of all children, and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia in Marie’s name. http://weblink.donorperfect.com/MDiMarco22bgcp
