Obituary for Marianne K. Foley
Marianne K. Foley, a resident of Upper Black Eddy for the past 18 years, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at her residence. She was 54.
Born in Philadelphia, Marianne was a daughter of Harry and Theresa Avon.
Marianne is survived by her husband Michael, a son Dylan, a daughter Meghan, a grandson Ryder, 2 brothers, Edmund and Joseph Avon and a sister Margaret Avon.
Marianne was employed as a rural carrier for the US Postal Service in Upper Black Eddy. Previously she had been employed as a graphic designer as well as a massage therapist.
Marianne enjoyed spending time reading, gardening and fishing.
Relatives and friends are invited to Marianne’s service celebrating her life, 11:00 am, Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Marianne’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
