Maria T. (Nee Martin) Brecht of Warrington passed away on Friday June 14, 2019 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home. Maria was 86 years old, and was the wife of the late Werner H. Brecht. Together they had shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Waldstetten, Germany she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm & Josefine Martin.

Maria was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing & spending time with her grandchildren.

Maria is survived by her children Susan Regan (Stephen) and Werner R. Brecht (Stephanie). She was the grandmother of Ashley & Amanda Regan and Eric & Matthew Brecht. Maria was the sister of Erika Wiedmann and the late Franz Martin. She is survived by her sister in law and brother in law John & Else Sartor. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Klaus, Myriam, Claudia, Rolf, John, Linda, Michael, Tom, Kimberly, Kurt, and Marlisa.

Maria’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday June 21, 2019 at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd., Warrington, where the family will receive friends after 10:00am until the time of Service. Interment will follow in Rosedale memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
