Obituary for Margaret A. Rowe
Margaret A. Rowe, of Nockamixon Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 79.
Margaret was the loving wife of the late Walter Rowe, who passed away in 2001.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Bickley.
Margaret graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Music.
Margaret worked for some time at the family’s business as an office manager, but her favorite job was being a mother to her 5 children.
In her free time, Margaret enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, watching wildlife, and tending to her garden.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Christopher Rowe (Debbie), Kevin Rowe (William), Barb Weber (Paul), Debbie Rowe; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a son, John Rowe; her brother, Robert Bickley; and her sister, Janet Barfoot.
Funeral services for Margaret will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Shelly Funeral Home, Easton & Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville, PA. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Newtown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN.
