Obituary for Lucy Evelyn Colman
Lucy Evelyn Gorham Colman, of Newtown, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Pennswood Village surrounded by her loving family. She was 99.
Lucy was the loving wife of the late Sager Tilden Colman, who passed away in 1993.
Born in Rio de Janerio, she was the youngest child of the late Reginald and Helena Gorham. She came to the United States at the age of 26.
Lucy was a member of Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church.
She worked alongside her husband, Sager, at a processing control instrumentation company.
In her free time, Lucy enjoyed quilting, researching genealogy, and reading.
Lucy will be deeply missed by her children, Evelyn Brown (John), Paul Colman (Linda); her grandsons, Daniel Brown, John Patrick Brown, Brian Brown, Jesse Colman; and her great grandsons, Isaac and Maximus.
A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Pennswood Village, 1382 Newtown-Langhorne Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
