Obituary for Luann T. Fahie
Luann T. Fahie (Walsh) of Pipersville, PA., Passed away peacefully at Abington Jefferson
Hospital on Saturday April 8, 2023 surrounded by her family after a short battle with stage 4
lung & brain cancer.
Luann was born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Edna VanHolt (George).
Luann is the wife of Jim Fahie Jr. The couple had married in 1975.
Luann had been employed with Kmart for many years. She had then had gone to work for
Tyndale in Pipersville, where she had worked for the last 16 years.
Luann enjoyed to crochet, camping, and especially to spend time with her family.
Luann is survived by her daughters Melissa, and Jaime Fahie (Scott). She was the sister of Kelly
Armstrong (Mark). Mother in law Elaine Kieffer. She was the grandmother of Nathan
(Amanda), and the late Michael Blackmon ( Anna). She is also survived by her nieces &
nephew’s Buddah (Dirt) Coker, Micah, Kourtney and Ayden Quick, Bear Armstrong, Brandi Gray
(Brandon), Brandon Walsh (Victoria), Michael Palvokak (Stephanie),Belle and Cal, Richard,
Eric, Shannah, Ricki, Spencer, Brianna, Olive, Andrew, Jace and Ryan.
Luann was preceded in death by her siblings Luke, Larry ,(Tara) Walsh. Her father-in-law Jim
Fahie, Sr.; and her brother-in-law Ricky Fahie. And Alberta and Bill Elton.
A celebration of Luann’s life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Shelly
funeral home in Easton in And Keller’s Church Rd., Plumsteadville. The family will receive
friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until 11am.
