Obituary for Lloyd A. Kinzel

Lloyd A. Kinzel, of Warrington, entered eternal peace on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 74.

Lloyd was the loving husband of Iris Kinzel. They enjoyed 44 years together.

Born in Germantown, he was a son of the late Lloyd E. and Bonnie Kinzel.

Lloyd attended Doane University in Crete, Nebraska. During his time at Doane, Lloyd had left to join the military to serve his country during the Vietnam War. Upon returning from his time in Vietnam, Lloyd continued his studies at Del Val, earning a Bachelor’s in Agronomy.

Lloyd was employed as a milk specialist for the FDA for over 30 years.

In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed working on his sail boat and taking on projects around the house. His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Iris, Lloyd will be dearly missed by his three sons, Kris Kinzel (Sheila), Gregory Lloyd Kinzel, Derek Kinzel; and two siblings, Cheryl Kinzel, and Robert Kinzel (Maria).

Services for Lloyd will be held privately at the convenience of the family. He will receive full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery at a yet to be determined date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lloyd’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758937, Topeka, KS 66675.
