Obituary for Kenneth T. Wilson

Kenneth "Ken" Wilson, a resident of Warrington, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 24 after a long struggle with cancer. He was 70 years old.

He was born in Asmara, Ethiopia to the late Robert and Louise Wilson. He grew up in Oakmont, PA, and attended Slippery Rock University.

Before attending university, he served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. After he completed college, he worked as a software project manager for many years until his retirement in 2020.
Ken LOVED golf and was a great player. He was always very proud of his grandfather, Emil Loeffler, who was a professional golfer and a superintendent at the Oakmont Country Club; and passed his love of golf to his grandson. Growing up, he liked theater and school plays, and he and his wife, Tanya, enjoyed going to musicals and Broadway shows.

Ken was a great chef and really enjoyed preparing gourmet meals. He also enjoyed Facebook, especially posting his trademark pictures of his fun socks and footwear.

He is survived by his loving wife Tanya, his sister Lesley Wilson VanGoetham (Kevin), his children Bryan Wilson (Amber), Lienna Wilson, Amber Wilson, grandchildren, extended family and his two precious cats.
The funeral and memorial service will be private.
