Kathryn R. McCartney died Friday April 11, 2014 at Neshaminy Manor in Doylestown. She was 87. Kathryn was the wife of the late David W. McCartney and mother of the late Dr. Brian McCartney. Kathryn was a retired executive from the Bell Telephone Company who loved being with family and friends and traveling the world. She was the sister and sister in-law Norman and Elizabeth E. Veit, Sr. Kathryn is also survived by her niece and nephews Betty Costello (Stephen), Norman Jr. (Lois), Thomas (Kelly) and George Veit (Eileen). Services will be held privately.
