Obituary for Judith Ann Reed (Richardson, Alscher)
Judith Ann (Richardson, Alscher) Reed, age80, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Coastal Hospice in Cambridge, MD. Born in Waverly, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard W. Richardson and Jeanne (Spencer) Richardson.
She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 40 years, Bruce. She is also survived by her children, Dawn J. MacMinn and husband, Steve of Plainfield, IL, Frank K. Alscher of Morrisville, PA, Pamela E. Nesbitt and husband, Eric of Schwenksville, PA, Scott A. Alscher and wife, Cathy of Woodbury, NJ; grandsons, Sean MacMinn, Eric Nesbitt, Jr., Jacob Nesbitt, Devon Alscher, Stephen Alscher, Robert Alscher; great-grandsons, Christopher Nesbitt and Eric Nesbitt III; stepchildren David Reed and his wife, Lynne of Telford, PA, Lisa Reed of North Wales, PA, Elaine Reape and her husband, Jim of Oreland, PA; step-grandchildren, Kevin Carliles, Ryan Reed, and Reed Black. She was preceded in death by grandson, Albert Wendler.
Also survived by siblings Gal Van Buskirk and husband, Keith of Warrington, PA, Marilyn Neubert of Nutley, NJ, and Rick Richardson of Tinton Falls, NJ.
Judith graduated from Neshaminy High School, Langhorne, PA in 1957. She was a ‘stay at home’ mom for 16 years. From 1974 to 1979, she went to work for New Jersey National Bank, Trenton, NJ in their Trust Department. From 1979 to 2000, she worked at Univest prior to retiring.
Judith’s graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery, 1475 W. County Line Rd., Hatboro, PA 19040.
