Obituary for John L. Twarog

John L. Twarog, of Warminster, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his residence. He was 88.

John was the loving husband of the late Barbara Elizabeth Twarog, who passed away in September of 2009.

Born in Lowell, MA, he was a son of the late John and Sophie Twarog.

John was a member of Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church in Hartsville, PA.

John grew up in Dracut, MA and attended Dracut High School. After high school, he continued his education at Lowell Technological Institute. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Textile Chemistry in 1955.

John was employed by Henkel Corp. in the specialty chemical industry in various capacities, including product development, manufacturing, and application. While with Henkel Corp., he traveled extensively overseas as a technical manager for the export division. After spending 42 years in the industry, John retired from Cognis Chemical Co. in 1997.

In John’s free time, he enjoyed vacationing in Maine, playing bridge with his friends, and computer technology. His greatest enjoyment in life, though, came from spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, John is preceded in death by his three siblings, Virginia Stankiewicz, Constance Matyas, and Louis W. Twarog.

John’s memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church, 1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
