John W. Kopchak, of Warwick Twp., passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at St. Mary’s Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Lansdale. He was 88 years old.
John was the beloved husband of Josephine Kopchak. The couple would have celebrated their 65th anniversary in May.
Born in Bethlehem, PA, he was a son of the late Stephen and Helen Kopchak.
John was a U.S. Army veteran, proudly serving his country during the Korean Conflict.
John was employed for 25 years at Fisher & Porter Company as a machinist
John was a member of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church in Jamison, PA, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by two sons; John J Kopchak (Heidi Threnn) and James S Kopchak (Denise White), a daughter, Judy A. Dolan, and two brothers, Metro Kopchak, of New Jersey, and Michael Kopchak, of Freemansburg, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA 18929. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
