Obituary for Joan Young
Joan A. Young of Warminster, PA., passed away on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 at Abington Hospice in Warminster. She was 76 years old. Joan was the wife of the late Robert J. Young who had passed away in 2007. The couple had been married for 45 years.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA., Joan was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothea (Leonard) Rimel. Joan was Self-employed as a seamstress.
Joan was an avid sewer and crafter her whole life. She loved traveling and had visited many of the Caribbean Islands and US National Parks. After her husband's passing, she was an active member of the Doylestown Hospital Bereavement group and a volunteer for Doylestown Hospice.
She is survived by her children Robbin Durie and Robert Young Jr.(Melissa). She is also survived by her grandchildren Rachael and, Nicole Durie, Seth, Delaney and Otto Young.
