Obituary for Jerry Glemser

Jerry  Glemser
Jerry Glemser passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family and many friends at Abington Hospital on March 25, 2014 from a brain aneurysm and stroke. He was a resident of Warminster.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl Bravo, their adoring children Melanie Kemp, Heidi and Martin Ricker, Susan and Sean Lafferty, Julia Glemser and Fred Zajac, Stacey Walker and John Coolican, Kimberley and David Brock, and Philip Bravo and Christy Esposito, his 19 grandchildren, Lauren, Katie, Emily, Jammison, Amanda, Maggie, Ricky, Rebecca, Shea, Anthony, Nathan, Sarah, Gabriel, Emma, Liam, Johanna, Kallie, Christian and Zachary, his brothers and sisters in law Francis Glemser, Joseph and Vida Glemser and John Glemser, Phyllis Aschenbrenner, Marybeth and Martin Chamberlain and Andrea and Mark Butler, and his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Anne Glemser, and his brother Ronald Glemser and his sister Patricia (Glemser) Tompkins.
Jerry graduated from Central Bucks High School, served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and has been a carpenter and tradesman his entire life. He was happiest cooking for and being surrounded by his family. He loved the beach and campfires at the shore with his grandchildren. The lives he touched and love he shared exceeds the imagination.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, March 28, at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, PA. Jerry’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 29 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. Internment will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Jerry’s name to Alstrom Syndrome, 14 Whitney Farm Road, Mount Desert, ME 04660.
