Obituary for Jeffry Castle

Jeffry Castle, a longtime resident of Warrington, Pennsylvania and Avalon, New Jersey has passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the age of 80.

Born in Philadelphia, Jeff was the only child of the late George Peter and Elizabeth Clair Castle, from Abington, Pennsylvania.

Jeff was the owner and operator of Jeffry Castle Construction Co. and spent his lifetime designing and developing homes. Jeff began his building career in Eastern Pennsylvania and eventually ventured into constructing luxury beach homes in south Jersey. Working hard outdoors was what Jeff appreciated most.

He was a longtime member of the Warrington Lions Club where he enjoyed helping with community support. In his free time, Jeff was known best for his devotion to the shore where he enjoyed boating and spending his early years water skiing whenever there was a high tide from the early morning hours until dark. He always loved being on the water and encouraged his friends, his children and their friends, and most recently his grandchildren to get out and enjoy the beauty of the water. He thoroughly relished teaching everyone to water-ski and was extremely patient with everyone as they learned. Jeff was also a model train enthusiast who created a wonderful exhibition of trains and track designs and most recently loved running them with his grandchildren.

Jeff was the husband of Marian E. Castle and enjoyed 52 years of marriage, two wonderful sons and seven beautiful grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Jeff is survived by his two sons and their families: Glenn and his wife Nancy and their children Brad, Leah and Trey. And, John and his wife Tracy and their children Aiden, Ashley, Alisia and Abrielle.

Memorial services celebrating Jeffry’s life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church, 1401 Meetinghouse Rd, Warminster where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice and to devote quality time with your loved ones, family and friends as life is precious. Always enjoy your moments together for making memories will last forever!
