Obituary for Jeffery Byron Hamilton

In loving memory of Jeffery Byron Hamilton, who passed away surrounded by family on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Doylestown Hospital at the age of 71.

Jeff was born the son of the late Harold and Ruth Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold and Mark.

In 1971, Jeff graduated from Central Bucks West HS, marking the beginning of a life dedicated to hard work and commitment. He embarked on a career with A&P, where he rose through the ranks until retirement, leaving behind a legacy of diligence and dedication.

Jeff had an undeniable passion for photography, capturing moments that would forever be treasured. Doylestown held a special place in his heart, with its charm and history resonating deeply within him. As a proud member of the Bucks County Historical Society, he contributed to preserving the rich tapestry of his community's past.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory include sisters-in-law Mary Jane Hamilton of North Carolina and SaraJane Hamilton of Pennsylvania.

He was also the loving uncle of Eric Hamilton (Robin) and Elizabeth Harrington (Byron) of North Carolina. Kaitlyn Gilbert (Bobby) of Pennsylvania , and Matthew Hamilton of Massachusetts.

In addition to his nephews and nieces, Jeff is survived by many great nephews and nieces:

Alyssa Miller (Cody), Ashley Barr (Matt), and Kyleigh Hamilton of North Carolina
Hannah, Eli, Isaiah Harrington of North Carolina
Lorelai and Karlie Gilbert of Pennsylvania

He was truly an uncle to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 5th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 AM, at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville.

Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
