Jean L. Drasher, formerly of Branchburg, NJ, White Haven, PA and Nokomis, FL, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA. She was 82 years old.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late Calvin Drasher, who passed away in October of 2016. They had been married for 52 years.

Born in Hazleton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Catherine Wendel.

Jean was a clever and creative person and was a self taught sewer who ran her own custom drapery business for many years.

Eventually, Jean and Cal retired to Nokomis, Florida where they were very active in the Spanish Lakes Retirement community. They both loved the beach and Jean participated in tap dancing, belly dancing, painting classes and drum circles.

Jean is survived by a son, Tim Drasher, his daughter, Danielle Bonk, her husband Jeff and their children , Bradley and Brycen, his son, Tim and his wife Brooke, daughter,Tama Drasher, her husband, Dan Smith, and their children, Cady, Alaina and Connor Smith, a daughter, Jackie Roelant and her husband Richard and daughter Jessica.

She is also survived by sisters Sally Heaney and her husband Marty, Jackie Nicolardi and husband Johnny and Anita Baldari and husband John. Also sister in law Clara Maso.

A memorial service celebrating the lives of Jean and her husband, Calvin, will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Shelly Funeral Home, Easton & Keller Church Rds., Plumsteadville, PA. Family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601.
