Obituary for Jay D. Sala
Jay D. Sala, of Warrington, passed away suddenly on January 6, 2020 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 62 years old.
Jay was the loving husband of Kathleen Sala. The couple would have celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary in August.
Jay was the son of the late Alexander and Norma Sala.
Born in Philadelphia, Jay graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976.
Jay was a valued employee of Performance Controls, Inc. in Montgomeryville.
In addition to his wife, Jay will be missed dearly by his dog, Dale “Little One,” and by many extended family and friends.
In his free time, Jay was an enthusiastic fan of NASCAR and followed the Pittsburgh Steelers football team.
Jay’s family will receive friends from 9:00 – 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976. Services will be held immediately following at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA.
In lieu of flowers, Jay’s family would appreciate memorial contribution in his name to the Wolf Sanctuary of PA, 465 Speedwell Forge Road, Lititz, PA 17543 or to the Northern California Sled Dog Rescue, NorSled, P.O. Box 30877, Walnut Creek, CA 94598.
