Obituary for Janet G. Logan
Janet G. Logan, of Plumstead Twp., passed away, surrounded by family, on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Lutheran Community at Telford. She was 86.
She was the loving wife of the late John B. “Jack” Logan III.
Born in Line Lexington, PA, she was a daughter of the late Susanna Gehman.
In her younger years, Janet worked as a beautician. While raising their two children, Janet began working for Hunter Spring in Hatfield. She went on to work as an inspector for Penn Engineering for 32 years prior to retiring in order to care for her son.
Janet was a member of Rockpoint Church. She enjoyed the worship services with her church family as well as the many social times at the church.
In her free time, Janet enjoyed listening to and attending many country music concerts; going to many auto racing events of all kinds; and taking photos of family events. All animals were important to Janet, family pets and wildlife alike.
Janet will be deeply missed by her daughter and best friend, Theresa Logan; her sister-in-law; a brother-in-law; her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will also be greatly missed by her dog Mandy.
In addition to her husband Jack, Janet was preceded in death by her son, John; and by her sisters Joyce and Joan.
A memorial service celebrating Janet’s life will be held at a later date.
