Jane Ellen Glemser
Jane Glemser age 65 passed away August 28, 2014 in her home. Jane was born in Pittston, PA on September 6, 1948. Jane was the daughter of the late Clarmont John and Anna Gibbons Langley. She is survived by her husband James Glemser, of Doylestown, PA, son Greg and his wife Morna and daughter Stacey. Grandchildren include Mollie, Ana, Gia, Margo and James Patrick. Jane is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Phil and Suzie Potter of Alcoa, TN, and a brother and sister-in-law Clarmont John (Jack) and Anne Shepard Langley of Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert William Langley.
Jane was a graduate of the Chandler School in Boston. She was a fun loving person and in her younger years enjoyed singing, and together with Jim formed a band named The Valley Express. On the first night she met Jim, he proposed to her with a beer tab he put on her finger and said that he would marry her. They were true soul mates and have been together ever since that night almost 50 years ago. Jane was always there for friends and family to talk to. She always took the time to listen and offer advice on any issue that came across her kitchen table. She was active for many years in the community and truly loved her time working with and raising money for the Central Bucks East Patriot Football Parents Club in the late 80’s. She raised her children with true love and dedication, was there every day when they got off the bus and made sure each night they ate dinner together as a family. She was a true homemaker and very proud it! Jane was an amazing mother, wife and friend. She adored her grandchildren and they adored her. She will be deeply missed by all, but never forgotten.
The family is holding a Celebration of Life event in memory of Jane at Borghi’s restaurant in Chalfont on Saturday Sept 27th from 1-4. All friends and family are welcome for a brief memorial service at 1:45 followed by food and drink to celebrate her life.
