Obituary for James E. Webster
James E. Webster, a resident of Doylestown, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Doylestown Hospital. He was 91.
James was the loving husband of Marianne Webster.
Born in Philadelphia, James was a son of the late James D. and Julia Webster.
James served 42 years with the US Air Force achieving the rank of Senior Master Sergeant and served during the Korean War, Vietnam War, and Desert Storm. James was the recipient of numerous awards and decorations to include the Meritorious Service Medal and 5 Air Medals.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by 4 sons, James Jr. (Amy), Mark (Kim), Gregory (Diane) and Andrew and a daughter Elizabeth Larkin (Kevin). James is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Daniel (Kelly), Matthew (Katie), Elizabeth Boccella (Nick), Taylor, Adam, Sara Dolan (Joe), Evan, Joclyn and Kaitlyn, 4 great grandchildren, Colgan, Elsie, Callan and Leo, and a brother Robert (Fran). James was preceded in death by sisters Clair Leinhauser and Naomi Marion.
Relatives and friends are invited to James’ funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Kellers Church Rds, Plumsteadville where the family will receive friends after 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
