Obituary for Henry Lopez
Henry Lopez, of Warrington, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Abington Hospital. He was 89.
Henry was the loving husband of Gloria Lopez. The couple celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in May.
Born in Galicia, Spain, he was the son of the late Enrique Lopez Dans and Josefa Suarez Cividanes.
He was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Warrington.
Henry was a restaurateur. He co-owned many restaurants in Lower Manhattan/Financial District area. Those restaurants included 28 Broadway, Parlor Car, Captain’s Ketch and Delmonico’s.
In his free time, Henry enjoyed gardening, watching soccer and playing the many sports offered at Legacy Oaks.
In addition to his wife, Gloria, Henry is survived by his children, Denise Glynn (Joseph Juliano), Diana Lehman (Harry), John Henry Lopez (Yulie); 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Kara, Dana, Daniel, Dustin, Rebecca, Rachel; and his sister, Carmen Perez.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by two sisters.
On Friday January 28, 2022, the family will receive friends from 10-11 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 856 Euclid Ave. Warrington, PA 18976. Memorial Mass celebrating his life will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Henry’s name may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
