Obituary for Helen S. Dagney
Helen S. Dagney, a Warrington resident for the past 17 years, formerly of Wyndmoor, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was 78.
Helen was the loving wife of the late John L. Dagney.
Born in Philadelphia, Helen was a daughter of the late John and Mary Abbott.
Helen was an active parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. She was also a Queen Mum with the Red Hat Society.
Helen is survived by a son, J. Joseph Dagney, 2 daughters, Susan Blackburn (Brad) and Barbara Strayline (Michael), 3 grandchildren, Bobbi, Tyler and Madeline and 2 sisters Dorothy Rissi and Barbara Stauch. Helen was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Bonnie Dagney and brothers Jim and Tom Abbott.
Helen’s funeral mass will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 1, 2014 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington where the family will receive friends after 9:00 am until the time of mass. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
