Obituary for Gertrude M. Rooney
Gertrude M. Rooney, of Warrington formerly of Warminster and Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Neshaminy Manor. She was 91.
Gertrude was the loving wife of the late Robert J. Rooney.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Mazel and Margaret Powers.
Gertrude was employed as a bookkeeper. She, later, babysat neighborhood children.
In her free time, Gertrude enjoyed reading, going to Church, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Gertrude will be dearly missed by her children; grandchildren; her brother, Jimmy; and her sisters, Shirley and Jackie.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Gertrude’s family will have a memorial service at a later date.
