Obituary for George Robert "Rob" Springer

George Robert Springer a resident of Riegelsville, PA, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday November 2, 2023. Rob was 64 years old.

Born in Sellersville, PA, George, to his many friends, and Rob, to his family, was the son of Connie (Vincent) Noreika and George J. Springer.
Rob graduated from Central Bucks East High School, class of 1977.

Rob had been employed at SPS in Jenkintown, PA for forty four and a half years. He began his career in forging, and eventually serving as the 2d Shift Group Leader.

In his free time Rob enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons, all things LBI, truck and car shows, flea markets and spending time with his big blended family.
He was proud of working hard for the big boy toys he wanted most. He also enjoyed being a classic “no tech” kinda guy.

Rob will be remembered for being a wonderful and kind person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Beloved son to Connie Noreika. Brother to Stanley S. Noreika, Barry D. Noreika (Maryann), Kathleen Snyder, Cynthia Noreika, Sandra Sheedy (Joe), Andrew Springer, and Arlene Springer.

His two sons Robert Andrew Reno and Timothy Nathaniel Reno (Shana).

Grandchildren: Lucas Reno, Liam Reno and soon to be born baby girl Reno.

Nieces and nephews include Celeste Clover, Andrew Springer, Jr., Mathew (Tammy) Springer, Laura Shaw (Mike), Angela Schuyler (Phil), Tara Leitz (Michael), Tara Noreika, and Christina Wagner.

Predeceased by his father George J. Springer and step-father Stanley D. Noreika.

Rob’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday day November 9, 2023 at the Shelly Funeral Home Easton and Kellers Church Road, Plumsteadville. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Fox Chase Cancer Center.
