Obituary for Gary R. Conover
Gary R. “Jay” Conover, Jr., of Pipersville, PA entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 13, 2023. He was 42.
Born in Doylestown, he was a son of Maureen and Gary R. Conover Sr.
Gary attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel grade school and graduated from Central Bucks East High School class of 1999. He played football for CYO Romans and the Central Bucks East Patriots.
Upon graduation, Gary went to work at his father’s construction company, Citadel Constructors, as a superintendent.
Coaching football was Gary’s passion. He was a coach for the CYO Romans for 13 years. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephew. They were the light of his life.
In addition to his parents, Gary will be deeply missed by his siblings, Brian Conover (Emily), Kate Conover; his nieces and nephew, Delaney, Addison, Avery, Colton, Kerrigan, Paisley; his sister-in-law, Bethann McIntosh; and many, many friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel McIntosh who passed away in 2010.
Gary’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902. Gary's family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
